Academics

Information about the academic programs at the Ezekiel Guti Junior Legacy School

IEP (Individual Education Plan)

EJ Legacy School provides tailored Individualized Education Plan (IEPs), ensuring that every student receives a quality education that addresses their individual challenges and strengths. An IEP is a customized educational program designed to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. Developed collaboratively by educators, parents, specialists, and sometimes the student, it outlines specific goals, accommodations, and services to ensure each student receives the support they need to succeed academically.

IIP (Individualized Instruction Plan)

While an IEP provides comprehensive support for students with disabilities, an Individualized Instruction Plan (IIP) focuses on personalized goals, instructional strategies, and accommodations to enhance the student’s learning experience. At EJ Legacy School, teachers carefully develop these IIPs to ensure that each student receives the focused attention and resources they need to excel academically.

Comprehensive Therapy Services

We offer a range of therapy services on-site, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychological support. Each child receives therapy at least twice a week, tailored to their specific needs to enhance their overall development.

Specialized Equipment and Skills Training

Our school is equipped with various types of therapy equipment designed to improve fine motor skills and promote independence. We focus on training children to do as much for themselves as possible, empowering them to achieve greater autonomy in their daily lives.

Interactive Learning

Our classrooms are equipped with interactive boards that enable children to learn through visual and auditory methods while engaging in hands-on activities. This dynamic approach caters to various learning styles, ensuring that each child can grasp concepts effectively.
