About the School
Ezekiel Guti Junior Legacy School is a special needs day & boarding school located in Harare, Zimbabwe. Situated on a 10-hectare plot along Shamva Road, just outside Glen Lorne, about 20 minutes from the Harare city center, the EJ Legacy School is a unique institution dedicated to empowering students with various disabilities.
The visionary behind this project was the late Ezekiel Guti Junior, a man of exceptional abilities who defied odds. Despite being in a wheelchair and having limited mobility all his life, he traveled the world as an evangelist, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and never allowing his disability to stop him from serving God. His belief that disability did not mean inability inspired him to carry a vision of a school for students with special needs—driven by the challenges he faced in being accepted into mainstream education.
Many students like him deserve the chance to succeed, but few schools meet their needs, and those that do are often prohibitively expensive. EGJLS, fulfilling EJ’s vision, aims to be a lasting solution for students with disabilities, providing them with the education and opportunities they need to thrive.
